Our Services

IL Coordinators offer a unique perspective as a peer with a disability who can assist other people with disabilities in navigating daily tasks and hurdles, i.e., getting an education, riding on a bus, budgeting, understanding disability benefits, personal management and home management.

These can be accomplished by utilizing self-advocacy and communication skills, knowing one’s rights and one’s responsibilities, and learning about various resources. You might be able to gain these skills through working collaboratively with an IL Coordinator, as well as through attending one of CRIL’s monthly peer support groups.
